Nová tramvaj pro Prahu – TFP1
Celkový design tramvaje byl řešen hlavně s ohledem na požadavky pasažérů, na charakter města a na současné technologie. Tato tramvaj je spojením moderních materiálů s tradičním vzhledem tramvaje.
Cílem této práce bylo vytvořit nový design tramvaje pro hlavní město České republiky – Prahu. Tento projekt by měl řešit či poukázat na současné problémy v pražské tramvajové dopravě. Vzhledem k současnému stavu pražského vozového parku, se pro mě stal tento projekt doslova výzvou. Výsledkem by měla být tramvaj, která je vhodná pro Prahu jak po estetické stránce tak i z funkčního hlediska. Tento návrh byl vytvořen na základě rozsáhlého průzkumu mezi uživateli a odborníky z oblasti designu, techniky a technologie výroby.
New Tram for Prague – TFP 1
The design of the new Prague tram – TFP 1, having two wagons classified as semi low-floor tramcars, was based on the actual requirements of passengers, availability of technologies and on the character of the city and its history. This tram is modern, but still looks like a traditional tramway, not reminding the high-speed city trains.
The aim of this work is to create a new design of the Prague tram, which would be in all respects, i.e. aesthetical and functional, suitable for this city. Besides, we would like to turn attention to some imperfections which have appeared in the brand-new models of Prague trams and give suggestions for its possible improvements. During the work on this report it became evident that the design-related problems of the trams of Prague really do exist and that these problems are very topical not only for designers and engineers, but for the general public as well.
